The National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic is a highly regarded event organized by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and DAV (Disabled American Veterans), with generous support from corporate sponsors and individual donors.

Since its inauguration in 1987, this clinic has been providing a remarkable opportunity for disabled U.S. Military Veterans. It offers comprehensive training sessions in adaptive Alpine and Nordic skiing, sled hockey, scuba diving, rock wall climbing, as well as an array of other adaptive activities, sports, and educational programs.

With over 400 participating veterans who have conditions such as traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic amputations, visual impairments, and various neurological conditions, this five-day event is truly transformational. Through engaging in adaptive sports that enhance their overall well-being and perspective on life, these veterans gain the strength to challenge any perceived limitations they may face.

In order to further enhance their experience at the clinic, participants can utilize a versatile mobile app. This app serves as a hub for numerous functionalities including viewing a detailed calendar of daily events, facilitating networking among fellow attendees, as well as uploading and viewing photos capturing the memorable moments of the event.
